About the salon
Celsius Salon opened in Zhubei in 2016 with a team of three. In July 2024 it moved to a larger space at the current address on Aikou 3rd Street, with more parking and easier access.
Today the team has 16 members, including 7 stylists and 5 color and perm technicians. Our clients come from Zhubei, the THSR Hsinchu Station area and Hsinchu City, including the Science Park.
The Chinese name 舍肆 (shè sì) sounds like 攝氏 (shè shì), the Chinese word for Celsius — a name about warmth, and about how people are treated while they’re in the chair.

FAQ
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, booking ahead is recommended so a stylist and a chair are available for you. Send our LINE official account (@celsiussalon) the service and the date and time you would like, and the salon will reply to confirm.
Can I be served in English?
Yes, some of our team members speak English. When you book on LINE (@celsiussalon), mention that you would like to communicate in English and we will arrange it where possible.
How are color, perm and treatment prices calculated?
They are priced by service and by hair length in four tiers (S/M/L/XL), which your stylist confirms in person. For example, single-color dye starts at NT$2,200, a heat perm at NT$3,700 and Japanese straightening at NT$3,700. These prices do not include shampoo or a cut.
How much is a haircut?
A haircut is NT$1,000 including shampoo, and a kids’ haircut (up to 3rd grade of elementary school) is NT$700. A shampoo on its own is NT$600, plus NT$100 if you add styling.
What are your opening hours?
We are open every day, 11:00–19:00. Changes for special holidays are announced on our LINE official account and Instagram.
How do I get there from THSR Hsinchu Station?
It is about a 5–10 minute drive or taxi ride from THSR Hsinchu Station (next to TRA Liujia Station), and about 10 minutes by car from TRA Zhubei Station. Coming by car or taxi is the easiest way.
Is there parking?
Yes, the salon has about 5 dedicated parking spaces, and there is plenty of street parking nearby.
